Rejoice

Rejoice Sherman (41) is a harsh Pentecostal Pastor and self-appointed moral authority of her Southern town. Stern, demanding, and completely unyielding, she keeps a strict code of virtue for her congregation and holds herself solely responsible for maintaining order. Despite her tendency to police piety, she’s a hypocrite who grants herself exception to the discipline she dispenses to others. She’s nosy and controlling, keeping a loyal web of busy spies in her employ. Though she feels obligated to stay informed on everyone around her, she’s particularly guarded and remains secretive to even her closest allies.
